harvard astrophysicist avi loeb was selected to assemble and lead a uap science advisory council reporting to the white house, aaro, odni, fbi, and the broader intelligence community, tasked with providing scientific guidance on unresolved uap cases. loeb is the most credentialed mainstream scientist to be formally embedded in the us government uap apparatus, and the council's reporting chain spanning multiple intelligence and law enforcement bodies is structurally broader than previous scientific advisory arrangements. this is a different kind of appointment than the earlier pentagon document releases — it places a working scientist inside the classification boundary rather than outside it.
