a memo signed july 31 by the principal deputy director of national intelligence instructs current and former government personnel to report uap-related information to the aaro office and a task force, and states this supersedes earlier classification and secrecy agreements. separately the secretary of state said the administration would hold a primetime address and release imagery if such material existed. the structurally unusual part is not the claims but the bureaucratic mechanics: an intelligence office voiding its own prior nondisclosure constraints for a specific subject.
